The gold framed mirrors were a perfect addition all throughout for calligraphy details, welcoming each guest, communicating the order of events, and what was was available at the bar.
Farm Table, Faux Fur and Gold Elegance
Inspired by the wintry feel of faux fur with the elegant accents of gold with the chiavari chairs and beautiful farm table from Luma Designs, this tablescape inspiration is for those recently engaged or for those hosting more this winter season.
Think of words you want to describe your day in addition to what might be unique to who you are and your love story or family, and brainstorm based on this. For example, if you're wanting an elegant evening, that's warm and inviting, and has a wintry feel, the faux fur and mercury votives with gold accents with the farm table could be a few details that help to implement this. It's truly all in the details and in order to be intentional it often starts with recognizing what's most important as the possibilities are endless. Consider what will truly make a difference in your day. As you establish more of your vision of what you're wanting to describe your day and what's most important, use it as a filter for decisions by asking, "Will this help accomplish this or take away from this?"

Faux Fur, Copper, Plaid, and Personalized Gifts
Inspired by the rich green faux fur with copper elements for an elegant evening holiday dinner party captured by the talented Daisy Moffatt. One of the best parts of smaller dinner parties is you can think outside the box, using different elements you may already have throughout your home as well as be intentional in the details.
Consider what is unique about the person you are giving a gift to that might remind them of how known and loved they really are. At the end of the day this is often the element that can make a gift the most meaningful. It could be something as simple as remembering a significant place, a dream, or a favorite kind of food or adventure. Is there something they have always wanted to do? If you can't give the gift of an experience or dream, consider a small way you can help them get one step closer or simply give a gift that recognizes and celebrates it with a thoughtful note of encouragement.
Find ways to incorporate a variety of textures throughout. It's all in the details and can truly make such a difference!
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season full of fun and meaningful moments as you gather and celebrate with those you love.
It's the most wonderful time of the year and I'm excited to share some inspiration with you as you plan gatherings with friends, loved ones and co-workers. I hope you enjoy and have a truly wonderful time celebrating this holiday season!
Cranberry and Gold Elegance
Inspired by the rich berry colors and dark green with gold accents incorporated all throughout, I had fun styling this table.
Think of ways to incorporate your color scheme throughout with accent pieces and layering with each place setting. Even the simple addition of a charger and color linen napkin can make such a difference!
There are so many possibilities when working with the following talented individuals and businesses here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A special thanks for each of their parts: Photography: Daisy Moffatt - Champagne Capri Table Linen and Cranberry Napkins: White Table - Flowers: Flowers by Tami - Venue: The Peyton - Gold Chiavari Chairs: Luma Designs
Inspired by the deep, rich colors of berries and the elegance of gold accents, Maggie of Maggie Walker Weddings and I began to plan this fun day of collaboration with other wedding professionals here in Chattanooga. It was a delight to work with Daisy Moffatt Photography who did an incredible job capturing the unique details of this styled shoot at Church on Main. From the stunning cakes provided by the talented Krista Ludwick of Tarte Cakes to the amazing bouquet and floral details by May Flowers, each individual part showcased an artist's specialty. The vintage china with burgundy accents provided by Nancy Deakins, linens from White Table, chairs from Luma Designs and wedding gown from Ever After, it was a truly beautiful collaboration that we hope will inspire brides-to-be and any hosts planning celebrations of all kinds.
I was excited to incorporate a family heirloom to display the cakes on. Incorporating sentimental details like this can be a neat way to honor your family and remember the generations before you. It was also a delight to have my niece, who had just turned four, as the flower girl wearing a flower crown designed by May Flowers. In thinking through the details of the wedding day, consider ways you can invest in remembering this day and commitment made in years to come. One idea would be to find a special set of china that would be unique for the bride and groom to use on anniversaries or simply have on display.
Making each guest feel welcomed, appreciated and valued can be conveyed in the thoughtful details of the day. I loved getting to contribute the calligraphy details of each guest's name and a thank you from the bride and groom. This is just one way you can recognize and appreciate the love and support of others. One way you can help welcome your guests coming in from out of town is through a local welcome box which can be delivered to their hotel for them to arrive to. It's always a delight to create custom orders that are unique and personalized to the couple and occasion being celebrated. The Chattanooga local finds incorporated in the welcome box shown below include whiskey from Chattanooga Whiskey, chocolate covered espresso beans from Hot Chocolatier, coffee from Velo Coffee Roasters and salted caramels from Milk & Honey. To create a customized welcome box, think about meaningful places to you and your significant other that would be fun to share with those you'll be welcoming.
